Background
- The officially released demo version of the song was recorded in August 1994.[1]
- Till made the song by playing a simple tune on the white piano keys with only his left hand.[2]
- Flake played the pan flute in the song because he liked how it sounded in Stephan Remmler's "Vogel der Nacht".[3]
- Flake guessed that Till wrote the song to impress ladies at parties. When Till was in the band First Arsch, he played drums. But you don't often find drums at parties, while pianos are more common.[4]

Sehnsucht Tour
During the 1997 performances, the song would start with a synth intro performed by Flake and Schneider, who would be located at a second keyboard placed on the stage for this song, rather than at his drums. The only other person present on the stage would be Till, wearing the robe previously used during performances of Tier. Till's line "so nass und heiß" would have a reverb effect on the "heiß", but the song would be performed normally for the rest. After Till sung the second verse, all three members present on the stage would raise their arms and fire would go up Till's robe. Afterwards, Olli, Paul and Richard would come onto the stage, wearing big sombreros and playing acoustic guitars. A small instrumental break would follow, with Till resuming the singing soon afterwards. Till would leave the stage after his part, while all the other members continued playing an instrumental outro. The last playing member would be Flake, who would continue playing a synth outro while the other members were backstage getting their normal instruments, or going back to their normal spots in Schneider's case.
In 1998, the song would be performed in the same manner, except that the reverb on the "so nass und heiß" line would no longer be present. Another difference is that on 22 and 23 August, there would be numerous female fans stationed on three levels of a backstage catwalk. During the song's performance, these women would all be holding torches, putting them out during the synth outro. Till would also throw the microphone stand across the stage during the last verse.
